ABOUT
We are a group of chiropractors with over 39 years of experience collectively. We believe in providing each and every patient with the highest quality of care. Attention to the details, attentiveness to each patient's concerns, compassion, and the clear focus on how we can help to restore each patient back to greater health are the cornerstones of our commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
Dr. Chester Lai graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors Degree in Science in 1991. In 1995, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. After practicing for a year in the bay area of California, Dr. Lai returned home to Vancouver where he has practiced since.
With a background in athletics, Dr. Lai has had a special interest in sports injury rehabilitation and has worked with many athletes including NHL, CFL, and CPGA tour players, .
Dr. Yvonne Wong graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1997. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Science from the University of British Columbia. As a parent of two, Dr. Wong has been most inspired by motherhood which has lead to her interest in prenatal and postpartum care. Passionate about helping others, she is also active in giving back to the community.
WHAT WE DO
Since 1995, we have been treating patients with musculoskeletal related issues. Over this period of time, we have been able to accumulate a wealth of experience not only in identifying and accurately diagnosing these problems, but also in the effective treatments for these issues.
Our clinic focuses on manual therapies and on the relief of biomechanical joint injuries and it's related soft tissue involvements. We have never wavered on our focus on patient care, keeping abreast treatment protocols and technologies that help us get improved results.
Our manual therapies include Spinal Manipulations, Soft Tissue Therapy, Ultrasound, Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Stretches & Exercise Programs, and of course, our Spinal Decompression Table. In the last few years, our clinic has really focused on the treatment of lower back conditions.
In 2008, we introduced two new pieces of technology to the clinic - a Spinal Decompression Table and the SpineForce high tech rehabilitation machine.
Combining the uses of the Spinal Decompression table with the SpineForce, we have been able to address 2 essential aspects of back ailments, pain relief and deep spinal muscle strengthening, in ways we could not have before. Our attention to your needs, our uncompromising standards of care, our experience, and our technologically advanced equipment are what we are proud to offer you.
